Motion Severn returns to Good Vibrations Music with ‘Got Music’, a stomping dubby house heater, laced with reggae inspired riffs and nostalgic beats. Featuring vocal chants and hooks from Jamaican born and Bristol based vocal artist ‘Da Fuchaman’.
Motion Severn are a collaboration duo with Dave Jones (Cardiff, UK) and Sean McCabe (Bristol, UK), named after the bridge that separates them. Paying homage to their shared love of the classic Strictly Rhythm & Red Zone Dub sounds, their work here recreates and reimagines that classic era of house music but for a new generation to enjoy.
Zemroy Thomas, better known by his stage name ‘Da Fuchaman’ is a Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter and grew up in rural Middle Buxton on the north coast of St Ann Jamaica. Da Fuchaman migrated to the UK in the summer of 2002 and it didn’t take long before he started getting integrated into the UK music scene. In 2016 he formed his live band now known as Da Fuchaman and his Fire Blaze Band performing at festivals like Boomtown Fair and Secret Garden Party.
In 2018 he won Best Reggae Artist in the South West, coinciding with his chart topping single ‘So Much Love’. Since then, he’s amassed a discography of studio albums, EPs and singles, collaborating with renowned artists such as Anthony B, Turbulence The Future, Lutan Fyah, Perfect Giddimani and Queen Omega. Da Fuchaman is known for his high energy stage performances throughout the UK and Europe and prides himself on spreading love and positive vibrations to the massive everywhere he goes.
